Dreams do come true (Cieplarnia)Restaurant: Cieplarnia The place is worth coming due to its nice atmosphere and delicious food. It is good for a business meeting, a date as well as for ordinary relaxed meeting. Sometimes we feel like being in a warm, safe an rosy place with a quiet tunes of calming music in the background and the rays of sunshine caressing our nose. We usually carry such a place in our imagination; at least I do. It is a place where you can go back to in your free time or every time you are sad or blue. The only thing you have to do is close your eyes and transfer yourself far away from problems. It has long been my desire to find such a place in reality. This time the reality met me halfway offering a place from my dreams, just in the heart of Krakow, which is an incredible advantage for me. The place I am talking about is Cieplarnia on Bracka Street.I spotted the signboard of the restaurant, or a club since in the evenings one can listen to live concerts there, and I was dragged into. I pulled with me a very nice man who was extremely hungry that day. It was not a novelty as he is hungry all the time but fussy at the same time too; hence I always feel stressed while choosing a place. It is known that it is easier to come to an agreement with a man if he is pleased before. Such interesting creatures they are. So we entered through a looong and bended corridor to a very nicely green and flowery inner yard. The impression was amazing. A small enchanted garden in the city center. Inside, the restaurants was - as I previously mentioned - just like the calming and restful place from my dreams. The only drawback turned out to be the music that did not really suit the atmosphere of the venue. And so we sat down. I chose a place in the back room with comfortable couches. I immediately started to feel hungry as it always happens when I am in a nice place like this; it is more a craving for curiosity whether the restaurant has food equally attractive as the decoration. Menu was delivered to us promptly and we started to browse through it - moderate prices and a variety of soups and main courses as well as salads and desserts to choose from. Without much consideration I decided to order cheese fondue for two. I adore fondue but till now I usually preferred chocolate one. First, we received salad; a brimful bowl of mixed vegetables sprinkled with a delicate dressing. After a while fondue with crispy bread arrived at the table. Huge amount of cheese in the pot turned out to be too much even for a couple of starved people. I do not whine, not at all, as I prefer to get too big portion than to get a gigantic plate on which one has to search for food (unfortunately, it still does happen). The cheese was delicious, aromatic and intensive. The toast, however, brought disappointment - a dry toasted roll. I would prefer it to be garlic bread or a roll but seasoned differently. Yet everything was still tasty. Due to the fact that cheese has got quite a distinctive taste eating it all the time would not be a nice culinary experience. Thus the salad turned out to be a brilliant idea. If it had not been for it we would not have enjoyed fiddling with the crisps so much - we dipped them in cheese or caught them whenever they fell from a skewer. I recommend fondue as a good integrating game. To sum up, I really need to give justice to the restaurants for an efficient service, very pleasant interior and of course delicious fondue.
